Gullane Golf Club Captain’s Charity Day
We are pleased to share the details of the Gullane Golf Club Captain’s Charity Day, which will take place on Friday 30th May 2025 on Gullane No.1.
Our club captain, Colin Steele, will be raising funds for the Gullane Village Hall’s project to improve their disabled facilities. Not only is this a very worthy cause but it also allows the Club to put something back into the local community. The goal is to raise as much money as possible and at the same time offer an enjoyable day for members, guests and visitors.
The tee sheet has been reserved from 8am to 10am exclusively for members and from 10am to 3pm for both members and visitors alike. It promises to be a fantastic golfing day out for groups of friends, with the opportunity to play one of Scotland’s leading links courses for less than half the price of a standard green fee, while supporting a very worthy cause.
A summary of the day is below:
- – Play will be in fourballs with 10 minute tee time intervals on No.1
- – A team competition will run with the best two net stableford scores per hole
- – Within the 8am – 10am slot members can book a tee time for £150 and bring up to 3 guests
- – From 10am members and non-members can book a tee time for £500 for a team of four
- – There will be team prizes and a variety of other on course prizes
- – Included with the fee is a BBQ lunch at the Members’ clubhouse
- – There will be a charity par 3 beat the pro and a roving cash bar
- – All funds raised will go to the fundraising project
